Proverbs 19:11 A man’s wisdom gives him PATIENCE; it is to his glory to overlook an offense. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, PATIENCE, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
Two weeks ago, my car horn went berserk, it continued sounding even without pushing the horn button. I went to the nearby “pit stop” shop to have it check. According to the mechanic, I need to buy a relay to replace the old one, which is already rusty.
I did bought a new relay. After having it replaced, it sounded good in the beginning but when I left turned, it began to continue bursting! It was such an embarrassment, for some cars drivers thought I was “nagging” them!
For the second time I have it check, the same problem recurred!
I am a little bit discourage, disappointed and lazy to have it check again, because it took so much time for the repair, and I need my car so much, being always a busy body all time. I decided not to have an automobile horn….for now (two weeks)
It taught me a very good lesson on how to be patience. Since I don’t have a car horn, all I can do is to wait, wait, wait and wait until some neurotic car driver can give me space to go forward or backward. I sometimes can feel the pressure but what can I do? Open the window and shout! Patience, patience, patience, patience……
Try getting rid of your automobile horn and test your patience!
